MARK is an optional AI assistant integrated into Parabellum apps. When enabled with your own API key, MARK can:

• Help you log food, workouts, and other data by interpreting natural language
• Provide observations and pattern analysis based on data you've entered
• Suggest recommendations for movies, books, recipes, and similar content
• Answer general questions and pull current information from the web

MARK is not:

• A licensed medical professional or any kind of healthcare provider
• A certified personal trainer, dietitian, or nutritionist
• A licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional
• A financial advisor, accountant, or legal advisor
• A substitute for any qualified human expert

MARK is powered by large language models. These models can produce inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated information, even when they sound confident. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

AI models pattern-match on text. They do not truly understand context, your individual situation, your medical history, or the consequences of their suggestions. Treat MARK's responses as starting points for your own research, not as conclusions.

If MARK offers any observation that sounds like a medical diagnosis, mental health assessment, or any kind of professional judgment, ignore it and consult a qualified human professional.

Parabellum tracks calories, workouts, weight, sleep, and similar metrics. MARK may provide observations about this data. This is not medical advice.

• Do not use Parabellum or MARK to diagnose any condition
• Do not start, stop, or modify any medical treatment based on MARK's output
• Do not use it as a replacement for professional medical care

Parabellum includes journaling and mindfulness tracking. MARK is not a therapist and is not equipped to handle mental health crises.

By enabling and using MARK, you acknowledge:

• You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and appropriateness of any AI output

When you message MARK, your message and relevant app context is sent to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, Google, etc.) using your own API key. This data is subject to that provider's privacy policy. We do not see or store these messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
